Reports

We've heard that the trails are in great shape. A few Volks Skiers let us know where they went:

Robert Johnson of St. Charles, IL skied 10k at Oberg near Tofte on his first XC skiing adventure and had a "great time"!

Greg Gentz of Plymouth snowshoed 5.5 k at Bearskin on the Gunflint Trail and another 3 k at Sugarbush Trails in Tofte.

Brent and Lisa Severson of Plymouth skiied 5k each at Oberg and saw wolf tracks.

Thanks for sharing!

Wolf Tracks

Lisa and Brent Severson of Plymouth reported seeing wolf tracks on the back end of the West Oberg Loop.

Kadunce River Snowshoe

From Eric at Lake Superior Trading Post in Grand Marais:

Our first day went very well. I led 16 people on my snowshoe hike this afternoon! None of them had hiked a North Shore river before and most hadn't snowshoed much, if at all before either. They all loved it!
